Hey there!

My name is Parker Beale, and I am a current Junior studying Community and Global Public Health and Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Outside the academic world, my interests lie in a few different areas: rowing, coffee, reading Donna Tart, frolicking on the beach, camping, making conversation with strangers, and playing NYT connections; just to name a few. Ever since moving away from Florida to North Carolina to attend school, I’ve had to adjust to life away from home, but have had the best experience so far. And I get to enjoy all 4 seasons!
What drives me?

Possibility. Being a naturally optimisitc person, I can’t help but see all the good the world has to offer to us. I hope to be apart of that good, no matter how small or large, to make change amongst those around me.

Looking forward?

Hopefully my next step is law school! But before that: finish my degree, hike Patagonia, spend a summer in California. After that, work for public health organizations with my refined knowledge in Public Health.
